Removing or adjusting it
Daily auto-gratuities CAN be removed or modified at Guest Services before disembarkation morning; prepaid gratuities can also be refunded via Guest Services. The 18% (bar/dining) and 20% (spa) auto-gratuities on individual purchases cannot be removed.
Prepay vs onboard
Can prepay at booking or any time before final payment; prepaying locks the rate against increases. Same dollar amount; benefit is the rate lock.
