Frequently Asked Questions
Classic covers drinks priced at $12 or less, cocktails, beer, wine by the glass, specialty coffee, and bottled water at standard brands. Premium extends the cap to $19 and adds premium spirits (Grey Goose, Patron, Macallan), premium wines by the glass, premium coffee, bottled waters, and frozen drinks. Premium runs about $20 per person per day more than Classic. If you drink wine or premium cocktails, Premium usually pays for itself.
Yes, All Included (renamed from 'Always Included') bundles the Classic Beverage Package, basic Wi-Fi, and pre-cruise fare promos into one price. Gratuities are NOT bundled anymore (Celebrity removed them from All Included in 2023). If you already booked All Included, you can upgrade from Classic to Premium at embarkation for about $20 per person per day, often a better deal than buying Premium outright.
Celebrity raised its bar and package service charge to 20% in 2024, above the 18% industry norm that Royal Caribbean, NCL, and most others still use. Both Classic and Premium have this 20% gratuity added on top of the listed daily rate, and the same 20% applies to drinks ordered outside of a package.
List prices are about $89 per person per day for Classic and $109 per person per day for Premium, plus 20% service. Pre-cruise sales run frequently and typical discounts are 30 to 40% off, so Classic often shows at $50-$65 per person per day and Premium at $65-$85 per person per day in Cruise Planner. Celebrity raised gratuities on July 29, 2026. Current rates: $19.50 per person per day for standard cabins, $20.50 per person per day for AquaClass and Concierge, and $24.50 per person per day for The Retreat (Suite Class). Gratuities are separate from drink package service charges.
