Premier raises the drink cap to $20, adds premium brands, extends the photo package, includes reserved dining (up to 2 specialty meals), and adds a shore excursion credit ($100-$300 by cruise length). Premier runs about $35-$40 per person per day more than Plus.

How much does Princess Plus cost in 2026?

Accepted Answer

Plus is $65 per person per day pre-cruise for most ships, or $70 per person per day on Sphere Class (Sun Princess and Star Princess). Premier is $100 per person per day standard, $105 per person per day on Sphere. Buy either onboard and the rate goes up by $5 per person per day. Both adults 21+ in the same cabin must purchase the same tier.

Is there a drink limit on Plus or Premier?

Yes, starting in 2026 both tiers are capped at 15 alcoholic drinks per day (Premier used to be unlimited, but the cap now applies to both). Non-alcoholic drinks (specialty coffee, soda, juice, bottled water) do NOT count toward the limit. Drinks above the cap can still be ordered at retail plus 20% gratuity.

What is Crew Appreciation on Princess?

Crew Appreciation is Princess's term for the daily gratuity. As of March 8, 2026 the rates are $18 per person per day for standard cabins, $19 for Mini-Suite/Reserve/Cabana, and $20 for Suite. Crew Appreciation is included in the Plus and Premier fare tiers but is a separate charge on Standard Fare. Princess also raised the F&B service charge from 18% to 20% in 2026.

Should I buy Plus or Premier if I do not drink much?

Accepted Answer

Plus is typically worth it even for light drinkers because it bundles Wi-Fi and Crew Appreciation on top of the drink allowance, so the effective drink cost is much lower than the daily rate suggests. Premier is only worth it if you want premium-brand cocktails (Grey Goose, Patron, premium wine), reserved specialty dining, or the shore excursion credit.
