Frequently Asked Questions
Disney has never sold an unlimited alcoholic beverage package. Instead, the fare includes coffee, tea, hot chocolate, lemonade, iced tea, and fountain soda WITH MEALS in the main dining rooms. Adults can buy alcohol, specialty coffee, and premium drinks a la carte, or save a small amount with beer mugs and wine packages. Confirmed still true in 2026.
Included with every fare: drip coffee, hot and iced tea, hot chocolate, lemonade, iced tea, milk, juice at breakfast, water, and fountain soda served at meals in the main dining rooms, buffets, and Cabanas. Also included at pool decks: soft-serve ice cream, pizza, and basic water service. Specialty coffee at Cove Cafe or Vista Cafe, alcoholic drinks, and fountain soda from poolside bars DO cost extra.
Buy a Mug Mug beer bundle (usually at dedicated beer locations like Pub 687 on newer ships or the pool bars) and you get 6 pours plus 1 free, effectively a 14% discount on domestic and craft beer. The mug can be kept, and refills come at the bundle price. Worth it if you expect to drink 3+ beers on the cruise.
Disney's daily gratuity is $16 per guest per night (or $27.25 for Concierge) and covers your server, assistant server, head server, and stateroom host. An 18% bar gratuity is automatically added to drink orders, so there is no need to tip on top of bar receipts. Additional tipping is optional but customary for: room service delivery (a few dollars), spa services (18% auto added, extra optional), bag handlers at the pier ($1-2 per bag), and concierge team in Concierge-level cabins.
Effective January 23, 2025, Disney increased daily gratuity from $14.50 to $16 per guest per night for standard cabins, and from $23.50 to $27.25 for Concierge. The $16 breaks down to $5.25 server + $4.25 assistant server + $1.25 head server + $5.25 stateroom host. Gratuities can be prepaid pre-cruise or added to your shipboard account.
